~To Love a Flower~ Deep, dark irises And luscious lips Are tormenting pollen For bee stinger tips Sweet nectar's a dream For a starving hive Their fates must mix For the love to survive But flowers will be flowers That the blind shall pluck The relationship rains For the bee's out of luck She points her stinger high The tulip, she grins The beekeepers rise up To stop their sins Some bees favor flowers That's the pollen of souls! But all comes to nothing If the righteous patrol |

There is an important message woven in here. If the bees starve, we shall come next! Well done. Love, Margherita |

thanx all! actually its funny you like my style because i recently shared a poem with my ap english teacher... who said it was too sing-songy. apparently she only likes free verse and the poem actually has nothing to do technically with flowers... i write my poems cryptic so only i can hopefully get it.. its actually about love and discrimination for certain types of love lol thank you again! Love you all Jaki H |
