I don’t remember When I bought it A decade ago At least by now It would have had to Have been on sale Dirt cheap Or I never Would have considered Such an extravagance As a suede leather Mini skirt I wore it On my birthday When I turned 40 Trying not to Look my age And then again A few other times Here and there While it still fit And there was Occasion For years it hung In the back of My closet A fond memory Of a way I used to be And that Special Feminine feel It gave to me On a whim This thanksgiving I dug it out Just to see if I could make it Fit again if I lost enough Weight and Sucked it in Much to my Surprise The zipper zipped With ease And I still had A month to go Before I turn 53 I know that skirt Will feel good On me As I proudly Sash shay along On my husband's arm In a room of Roving eyes LGR©12/10/10 |

Enjoyed this much. I know how it feels to put on something from time ago that we liked and it fits still or "again" (in my case!). Very charming write, dear Lori. Love, Margherita |

Niiiicccceeee. Nothing like fine leather in fine form. Keep on sash shaying. "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |
