Humility Across the walking path are spread trounced autumn leaves of brown and red dew dampened by a morning kiss that flogs the air both fresh and crisp as from the corner of my eye a waning shadow I do spy of someone’s step that once I think did tread upon these fallen links of grain and vein and hemp and stem that once did make a leaf a gem but, now, all mangled in a wad of mud and crud and cud and sod, these trampled groves that once stood tall remind me that it’s time for Fall. God bless, Lighthouse Bob [This message has been edited by Lighthousebob (12-08-2010 09:51 AM).] |

This is about as good a description of what begins to happen in the fall as I've ever read. Great wordplay. . . . and the Raven said, %!~#&(!$! |
