I want to understand the ways of the woman that I love Want to feel all the sorrow of the cooing dove I’d even run till faint to catch a ray before swallowed by the shadow of a setting sun But I’d die to know the peace of a humble one Well, I spent half my life chasing dreams from there to here And managed to catch my fair share of my fair share Still nothings quite the glory that they said it’d be I’m discovering sweet pain in the truth of this agony I believe it could be humbling Humble me |
