OK... I think I have found my muse. I spent Thanksgiving week with my fiance, and while I was there, I practically filled my journal. He keeps me writing constantly. While I was there, I wrote two pages of poetry, the rest was for a book I am working on. I'll post that in prose when I get it together.

~*~ Trust ~*~

Trust is the most fragile,
thing in the world.

Once it has been broken,
rarely can it be fixed.

Fragile, yet valuable,
without it, nothing can be done...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~*~ Dreams ~*~
I close my eyes
And drift to sleep
My dreams floating by
One - with me in his arms
Another - with tears streaming
One flowing like water
Into the next
Until they all just...
Blur together.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Untitled

Green eyes staring into hazel
Two hearts joining as one
A single tear streams down
And lands in the corner
Of her smile for him
Voice shaking as she makes her vow
To love him forever
Cameras flash as they kiss
A simple kiss,
To seal their vows.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~*~ A Different Tamma ~*~
The ink flows as her hand graces the page
Words she couldn't find before
Are now streaming out effortlessly
A smile hidding in her heart
As her true passion flows inside
Poetry was her life, so many years ago
Journals filled from cover to cover
With emotions she forgot long ago
Pages yellowed with age
Buried deep in the closet
For more than a decade.
She searches through them all
Reading each one over and over
Reliving the memories each one holds
A smile here, a laugh there
Never read by anyone but her
Her poetry was her secret
No one could touch her there
It helped her sort through
All of her joy and all of her pain
So no one had to see
All the tears she cried.
The years have changed her
Journals left behind
Serving to keep the memories
From a different time, a different life
A different TAMMA.
"Don't love me dispite my flaws, but because of them"
This was wonderful to read, as I so understand that surge of inspiration... where your muse takes you by the wrist and pulls you along on a wild free-for-all~!     It's exhilerating... I'm happy for you, as your fiance seems to be the right one... he encourages  your writing!!! That says an awful lot
Keep it up!
Best~
Writing poetry is a very special art form which defines it's author much more than they might suppose in the beginning.  Even when it is total fiction, it says something of the writer for the thought exposed, or  saved discreetly.  I think I've thrown away a book or two, for the tender voices that would come to light if I had not.
I like the hope and vision in your Thanksgiving and the decoration of being in love! Heart smiles!     ~K
Love is always creative, as I say! Profound thoughts very beautifully expressed.
Love,
Margherita
