Darkness reigns over the stark snowbound
plains. In dens families gathers near well
tended flames.Suddenly there's a jingle followed
by a jangle,a snort in between sounds
of reigns being untangled.
A delivery man from above,
landing slightly off-angled.

The roof is no parking as a general
rule, but a fine print exception is
made just for yule.

He sneaks over tiles, and slides down towards
the fire, by squeezing in his belly snug in
dark red attire.Cookies vanish like ghosts
of seasons long past.Carrots crunch,
milk is drunk, satisfaction at last.
In the following moment the presents
are laid, the precise route mapped out,
and the next stop is made.

The ride over Norway was a turbulent one,
but the cleaver old elf thought it part
of the fun. Snowflakes came in great
flurries,making goggles required,
but the saint's hands were deft,
his skill to be admired.This
ride's got GPS,and a heads-up
display, and a nine reindeer
engine quickly pulling away.

Now it's back into the night sky, or now is it day,
when the morning comes along all good children will play.

Life is meant to be enjoyed, not just endured.

A wonderfully humorous portrait of a modern Santa with GPS, nota bene. I always wondered how he got around! Thanks for this happy holiday laugh.
