Lunar Panthera Tigris Tigris

Robust roots glow quietly within salty shores,
Enthralling calmness gently captures winter outdoors,
Innocent dull stains, widen craters on lunar pole,
Cast dreary light like silver threads over fern scroll,

Sturdy bamboo knots hustle to the flowing stream,
Popping mangroves plunge into midnight beam,
When tiny fisherman’s beak goes on dark patrol,
Cunning agile reptile jaws guards the hallow bowl,

Langurs chatter warning mantras from branches triples,
Alone untamed majestic black stripes stalk ripples,
Golden eyes summons fright through every living skin,
Prolonging pale prolific whisker rub against still grin,

Iron paws rattle helpless witness pebbles so soon,
Growling begins against the agitated winter moon,
Stripes engulf every inch of the damp silver priest,
Striking reflections reveal the holiness of the beast.

Wonderful descriptiveness... you have captured the striking imagery of the Tiger hunting in the moonlight... it becomes as clear as a photo in the reader's mind!  Great write...

This band's won two grammys for instrumentals. You don't know how that makes me feel as the lead singer!
