My future waits patiently unfurling petal by petal, some torn and bruised. Those of perfect hue and scent have few thorns to prick unwary fingers. To draw blood where none need be spilt. Layers fall softly, sensuously, the bud finally revealed, tender, pristine, absolute. Like a devotional offering, the heart laid bare. My gift the key. |

Oh, I like the imagery. Layers are complicated but one always hopes what lies under is worth it. -Trina. |

Like the grit and the layers. It is the layers that do us in eventually, because keeping up with them is impossible and they all come tumbling down eventually. . . . and the Raven said, %!~#&(!$! |

Thank you all for your kind comments. I think perhaps we have to peel away the layers to reveal the truth hidden beneath? |

Fine writing, beautiful images and got to agree with the peeling of layers to know what is in store. "Hardwork pays in the long run" |
