On this beach of Bahia It is of you that I think, of the black swell of your hair, By collecting an indented shell It is your heart which I listen to, By walking in the tepid sand It is Napoleon whom I free, The sun of Bahia burns Joan of Arc And hunting English of Gironde, On this beach of Bahia It is of you that I think, I stammer Whereas waves rewrite The history of France with you. |

Thanks Ida, Amaryllis and Margherita...Inspiration came by rememberin walking on a beach...There FRance means nothing and so History could be revisited in my own way....Inspiration is rather strange....I appreciate a lot your supportive and accurate comments. yann |
