Me and My Speedo's

She was feeling lonely
so she ask to spend the night
I told her I had only
one bed for the both of us,
would that be allright?
"No problem" she said with zest
"I want to chat with you awhile
and then we'll get plenty of rest."
And don't expect to get too close,
we won't be getting undressed.

Later that night:

I don't know when but she
changed into sexy red lingerie
and now she was beckoning me
to "come closer, must you
sleep from so far away?"
"So honey unless you're queer
I'd advise you and your speedo's
to get your rear over here."
I liked the way she called me honey
and she didn't have to say it twice
I moved closer in a flash, taking her advice.
You probably have your own thoughts
about what happened next,
as I fell off the bed
I awoke from my dream
wearing my speedo's
around my neck.

HA! Yep! Been there, done that. Just as frustrating as I remember it. Funny stuff, but well written. Thanks for the laugh and memories of a younger time.

James, my friend, I think my laughter might
have woken up my spouse!

I loved it! I could use some more of this, please!

Hilarious! Twist in the tale. Fine writing, James.
