Time takes you to the edge and might let go The girl of my dreams let me die I never thought you would walk out of this dream What broke this love I thought everything was real The camera he holds captures you in the sun I'm living confused I thought the night is what made you real My eyes keep screaming the love i feel for you Why cant you get a hold of everything i'm saying They scream side by side the love i want show you How can i show you anything? When i just get older waiting for you You left me in a cold world of dark How could you treat me like this? The world we had has fallen down Your new boyfriend has taken you away Is he good to you? The words shattered my soul "Ive found everybody out there" How can you move on so fast? The love we shared was destroyed a day ago The voice spoke with no passion How can i stay alive for the next day? Should i blame myself or is there somebody out there that can feel this prison This is an abandoned place of everything i found The girl i see in my dreams She wasn't real She was a just a disguise Can i dig my own hole to fall into? The grave i dug isn't deep enough to fit the tears i've cried I struggled to be apart of your life Now let me go Ill leave this world with everything i had |

This poem contains some very interesting elements. I particularly like the light/dark contrasts, which go with the camera theme: "the night is what made you real..." It is also a poem about love and pain with strong emotional contene. Good work. |
