I was good at grand entrances. You were good at grand exits. I am at a loss for words to say, so I sit and play my piano songs, the wind blows cool and heavy and I think of all my wrongs. But I guess I'm far away and you know I'm not coming back. Really, it's quite okay to gather your memories to pack. I understand the pain you have when I say I'll never cheat on him; for one who loves like you, I know it hurts to be a friend. I will remember you fondly and always play a song for you, what a grand exit you made this time... finally realizing we are through. |

Well now, aren't you just a bit of heart breaker all the same. Reminds me of Billy Joel's, "Innocent Man". Excellent PS but I've come to expect that of you. Eric |

There is magic within these lines. Magic, but reality staring the reader down. Poetry. What is it if not a way to delve into yourself and work out things that all the booze and pills and smoke can't. Poetry. . . . and the Raven said, %!~#&(!$! |

I can't really relate, but it's always good to get a glimpse into another part of life. A perfectly-worded glimpse at that. |
