and now along the highway of belly skin that accordions along over itching stones I savor slow sips of the soup trees with the half lip lids of my awakening eyes there is a musk bosom of redwood female her feather bark hair is in turmoil as she grinds against my nostrils in love with how I worship with glances over there, the barbwire fences are boys with snaggle teeth eating horizon corn their fencepost bodies of limb shapes plucked from crosses without leafy gods and behind them, voyeuristic pastures linger like green jello licked from packets and scented with damp samples of saliva perhaps the breath of panting hounds chasing me like a friendly stick til evening _____________ daark (highway series redwood run) |

Yup, I envy the person on the back of that bike, and sure wish I could read your mind - this was vivid as heck! |
