Wuff, wuff, that's only dog talk for The first salvo of declared war. It will pay all you human folks To not take this as a bad joke. First thing on the war's battle plan Now, listen up as I begin. Why can't there be calico dogs? Answer me, come outta that fog. Calico cats are everywhere People just stop, look and stare. Oh, Sammy, ain't that just so cute A calico cat, that's a hoot! Hey! Take a look over here, dude, And dudette, right here by this food. What is the color of my fur? CALICO! Yes mam and yes sir. When I decide to walk and strut Calico dog? No, I'm a mutt. A mutt, you hear what I just said? No respect, might as well be red. Bow wow! I'm gettin' in the groove I mean, I have something to prove. Take the normal misguided view That cats are smarter, oh, pooh-pooh. Ain't heard of a drug-sniffing cat Uh, huh, what ya think about that? Us dogs just naturally stand tall Never hacking up a fur ball. We are companion to mankind My, my, we even lead the blind. We search for the dead, as you know Doing that does gives us a glow. When our masters give us a wash We are grateful, we never slosh. Try that with a calico cat Time you're done; it'll be God's wrath. Now when it comes to our dog food We'll eat anything, we're not rude. And when it is time to go . . . (wink) We sure don't have a rank cat stink. We come when called, lovable too Except sometimes when shoes we chew. We're about the best thing to know So why not call us calico? . . . and the Raven said, %!~#&(&#!$! |

My dog is a mutt, and she's perfect. When we tell her she smells like a dog, she says its better than smelling like a cat. So, I think she'd take offence to being called calico. She likes being know as our little golden bear. "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |
