The colors that Fall wears when she's dying leave me not knowing what to say, I usually have just the right wisdom when someone or something passes away. But I waste my two-in-the-morning's searching for things that don't exist, trying to relieve the pain that has me clenching tight my fist ready to throw a punch at anyone who looks at me the wrong way, angry at the cold early mornings that leave me nothing else to say. |

Whew! It's not too often such a lovely lady gets this way. Even so, the fire is fodder for poetry and I enjoyed this very much....LOve the last verse. Eric |

I love the beauty of fall. Though I cry at Summer's demise. But I dislike Winter's gall. For the flurries in my skies. I understand your pain. And the anger in your soul. For I have the same disdain. Of winter's frigid toll. I love it! Dave |

What Blues Serenade said. Breath deep. Of course I usually follow that up with the rest of the poem... ... the gathering gloom. Watch lights fade from every room... I think the Moody Blues said it best. Hang in there. "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |

I've come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as a painkiller. ![]() There ARE respites, though. Hugs the sky in between the storms. ![]() |
