It's hard to write poetry when you're being poisoned.
It's hard to dance and sing when you're tired and clipped of wing,
when every last dream-scene is blind flailing with knives,
or crawling half-blinded down an escape corridor.

Upon waking, perceiving the mystery again,
and wanting to write in this great twilight longitude,
I find my Internet poisoned, also---hard to type.
I guess some people have no clue about sheer distance.

Oh no, why is your internet poisoned? A virus? Or I`m not getting it... but I like the power in this piece, easy, strong writing, here. The flailing knives is chilling.

Man, you need to be watching the movie I'm watching now. I ordered it and it just came in. "Tune in Tomorrow," with Peter Falk, Barbara Hershey and Keanu Reeves. You wouldn't have time for the gloom to set it, it is hilarious.

Anyway, easy1, I enjoyed your poem, but I'm so upbeat with this darn movie I can't get down with ya. Besides, you being Czech it okay, Peter Falk's character hates Albanians.

. . . and the Raven said, %!~#&(&#!$!

Your poems always seem to correspond to my current moods. At the moment I am dealing with a major disappointment in humam nature. I agree, it's hard not to be bitter. If you think of a solution, please let me know. Powerful poem!

lol, it is a line from Casablanca...
Thanks, all, for your kind words. Bastet, I wish you well. It is always a severe disappointment when a human being, a child of the true Almighty, disappoints so badly, hurts the innocent so unjustly, and shows so little understanding of what they have done and what is in store for them down the road if unmitigated.
