I just want to make a phone call
And send a text message every now and then
I don't need the newest or fanciest phone on the market
Me and my pre-paid phone are doing quite well
Thank you very much

But that's not good enough for you
You have to tell me how much my phone sucks
How your phone can do this and that
How your phone can download all kinds of apps
You probably love your phone more than you love yourself

Droid, Blackberry, iPhone
What's the difference?
They all do the same thing
It rings, you answer it, you speak, then you hang-up
Wash, rinse, and repeat

I will never be a member of the cell phone elite
For what?
So I can brag about paying $300 dollars for a phone that doesn't work?
If you hold the phone like "THIS"  you should be able to hear me better
Congratulations you have just been jobbed by Steve Jobs

I am one of the few people who doesn`t even own a cell phone.  If I want to meet a friend I call them on a land line and trust that they will arrive on time.  I have never been into texting.  It seems so incomplete. ---- So keep to what YOU believe in.

I always said I would never get a cell phone. I relented. I like it. but to me it is merely to answer calls I get and to make calls I want to make. Everything else? Phooey.

Maybe it's an age thing, but I would rather hear a voice than read the words in a text, so I also have a very simple phone, used for necessity purposes only and never used during my working hours unless it is a family emergency (same with the computer). I would rather experience real time living.

A perfect piece to my way of thinking. My wife and kids, parents and only my closest of friends have the number to my cell. Glad I got it... it's saved my backside a time or two... but as for having the latest and greatest... not even! Texting is the bane of proper spelling and there is so much to read into a person's tone of voice. My kids say it's a generational thing, but I see texting as just one more step in the depersonalization of our species.

Enjoyed...I've noticed that cell phone uses are casual and extreme...always talking always texting...the extreme I could do without...James

Reading through pages and pages of manuals is such a waste of time, simple phone that rings is always fine with me.
