        November Moonlight

Just beyond a tumble-stone wall,
this forest path of fallen leaves
vanishes in the twilight mountain mists
  of loneliness,
like the siren song of spring
or dragonfly shadows of Summer,
leaving only barren, relentless solitude
and cold November moonlight.

A lonely place indeed, Bruce, and still there is an ethereal beauty about it.
