Don't tell me rubbish in silence today from the cave of your one perspective fed by the twist of truth into lies and the knowing into ignorance. Don't ruffle my hair as if I'm a child in a bubble of unawareness floating free in the ether of dreams unfounded on absolute fact. Don't teach me to swim then let me drown in the treacherous currents of life that batter belief on gigantic rocks placed uncaringly in my way. Don't hold my hand in protectiveness then expect it to leave no void like a chasm that drops the meaningful into the depths of fantasy. But I know of words and rules and such and how like a feather they are to touch and tickle but not impact the skull of a dishonest mind. Dishonesty? Yes, it's despicable so don't tell me rubbish and ruffle my hair one day when the currents of life wash me up on the land of original birth. Don't tell me rubbish! Ruffling of the hair it appears is a definite no-no to you, Helen. I understand, of course, where you are coming from. The passion and undying love takes a backseat so often after the relationship slows down enough that you can see the speed bumps in the highway of love that you never noticed before. Good write. . . . and the Raven said, %!~#&(!$! |

Dear Balladeer - If I were to tell it how it is there would be no mystery and no reason for anyone to think - but perhaps I just love the "story". Thanks for the read. JerryPat - An insightful reply. Thank you. ebm - Thanks. If I could go I would already be gone! Helen |

Ya know that whole "penny for your thoughts" thing? I think I own you the national debt on this one. It's always a joy to read, even if it's just a vent. "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |

Helen So many fine lines of passionate reality rendered with such poetic candor. Tis a world of deceit so many ways. Great stuff! Eric |
