DON'T COME KNOCKING AT MY DOOR
                     by Alexander

Don't come knocking at my door,
I'll answer not, for evermore,
I may have done the year before,
But now just shadows cross the floor.

Last night the reaper called my name,
My final act, a crying shame,
With no-one but myself to blame,
In life or death, it's all the same.

Don't come knocking at my door,
I'll answer not, for evermore.

The loneliness and hopelessness shows through in this. Enjoyed.
