What is this
this foreign substance
that I was forced to swallow
without warning
not a single word

my heart is starting to race
and my chest is in
disgraceful pain
it aches
and yearns for more

the taste is lovely
and i'm addicted
to this bitterness

But, no
you'll supply no more
not for this junkie

So, it ends
like it began
-without a word
you took it all away
and I'm forced to go
"Cold-Turkey"

What is this?
