Well might one stagger at the task- Of judging right from wrong. Or judging word craft good, or bad- Critiquing someone's song... Or weighing motivation- Surmising from one's acts... To whether he be justified- Bereft of all the facts. Or sifting love, to find it's sort- Of Eros, agapeo... Or even it's more noble sort... The form that's called phileo. To ponder? Aye, a noble task- To know the world around us... And leave each life we touch, more blest- Than on the day it found us. |
