I’m the man To whom Death said Not yet The one Unhappiness missed Albeit only By the fall Of long blond hair It is October The leaves Are yellow gold White clouds Blue sky All that is beautiful Is in each breath I take In a distance Still too near The trumpet’s call A plaintive siren’s song Sunlight Sparrows The snowy moon Geese in flight Pass overhead I am never Going back .
