Orchid Poetry is a color Like petals on a flower It gives me the right It gives such power It tells a story Of what I like to read It is as beautiful As a diamond or bead You can make anything happen If you just believe Out it can come The time you might grieve It tells a book A story if you will My heart has been captured It can make you quite still It is like an orchid Growing in a field Be careful how you read it Read it with yield It can have many meanings Many endings can change Even the rhythm Can become a new range Open your heart And open your ears Wash away All of your fears For more poems visit my website at www.wordsbybeth.com |
