The Heart Would Have No Feelings The heart would have no feelings If, it would never have the ache Of, the loss of a love inside When lost, that makes it break. Though, we all know those feelings Are only found there, in our mind When, a true love graces us It’s in some place, a special kind. We can try to get feelings past it And, tell ourselves, that it is gone But, find there’s nothing we can do When it just lives, on and on. For some of us, the lucky few It’s a very wonderful, thing Even, with all the heartache That, those special heartbeats bring. When you think about that love Every single minute, of the day It makes the mind and heart Do, those tricks, that, they can play. Tick, tock, tick, tock, goes the time The mind searches for the cure While the heart aches, each beat For that love, so sweet and pure. 09.19.2010 Del "Abe" Jones |

Dear Abe, I so love your romantic, sensitive side. This is most beautifully written. Very much enjoyed. Love, Margherita ![]() |
