May I always be romantic,
although convicted in the vision
by steadier minds, as lunatic
entertaining poor decision.

I write the tale of touches
not meant for me to keep,
sussurant, tendered softly,
old currents running deep.

Intrinsic to the winds of hope,
Love's destiny set sail,
foundered on the seas of life,
scrim torn and mast too frail

To navigate the Milky Way
where lovers go to tryst,
I'm anchored to a fallen star,
still dreaming in the list.

I smile for aspirations here to the magic of tenderness, no matter if it is cherry blossoms or dandelions blooming, or listening to leaves crackle beneath your steps. There are kisses to remember and as one poet put it tonight, music with notes yet to be heard. Thank you all for sharing your poetry with me, and for commenting with heartsmiles attached.
