Floating among the dusty dreams The morning remains elusive Putrid downfall replaced rays and beams Will nothing be conclusive? It’s humble, modest and fair To take victory in stride And refuse to share It’s yours to hide Lifes purpose to betray When enduring despair It’s labelled cowardly to display That you're unable to bear To remove that crooked mask And acquire a hand Desperate to ask But unable to stand Another rhyme to unrequited love Or dejected lament A devout Salmn to the above Or simply passion spent It’s never truly hidden Our suffering is written On our face, it’s forbidden But in literature, we’re forgiven To admit defeat sometime No hand to hold, none to lend Merely human to cry, it’s no crime Pain is life not the end |

Really appreciated this. Enjoy hearing someone's different impression on life, but one I still relate to. Kudos. Novus_Os Life is meant to be enjoyed, not just endured. |
