beyond all loss and time Against an ebony-velvet sky a giant, pale amber moon hangs on the cusp of Autumn, while a cool evening mist dances with the trailing scents of Summer passing and a quiet, delicious transience stirs in traceless whispers that echo through the pensive stillness of a lonely heart. Dare we tempt the distance beyond all loss and time? --- b. e. adams (8/27/2010) |

I like your descriptions of summer passing into Autumn. Nicely done. Kat >^..^< |

"Dare we tempt the distance beyond all loss and time?" From the beauty of nature to the edge of eternity. Only The Poet can take us there. Ida |

Yes! Dare to do so. Any hurt it causes, is less than the hurt of not daring. Lovely poem, Bruce. Owl |

I have missed reading your highly poetic offerings on Nature, Poet Man! I read them ~ then I whisper them... Sending an appreciative hug your way, Linda |
