His breath, minty and warm
brushed softly agaisnt my cheek
when he spoke
We smiled, remembering how we
danced together in a crowd
yet saw only one another

His brandy eyes, filled
with laughter reminds me
of Summer
he is smooth as caramel
& just as pleasing
his incandescent smile
crumbles my facade
with manly hands,
he leads me
into love

Captain, this is a peice of fiction inspired by a friend who's name happens to be the title. I'm not sure how well I do romantic, but I do try.  Thanks for reading!

Jesse, I couldn't help but chuckle when I read your comment. Thanks for the read.
