What do you know of this love? fierce and fiery lava canals inside my heart alive watchful eyes disciplined to battle amazing foes fearless in the face of tragedy have you treasured your rewards through many tempests? over treacherous hills? through dense darkness? I became the warrior scarred from battles mustering strength to live on the edge of whatever never aquainted with tomorrow what challenges may come I will pick up my sword defend against the "well wishers" Spit at the feet of ignorance parry the foolish slice to shreds loaded advice lacking experience or knowledge of this fierce love let me know of your swelling if you savored each movement beneath fingers seeking? smelled love in soft down and silk roses? instinctively knew cries of your own? would you lay your head upon the guillotine for this love? I have, I will, I do speak nonsense to poison fed philosophers save empty graces for lace gloves lifting delicate china to gossiping lips these calloused hands would crush such things the fire in this throat would erupt mercilessly upon prissy dresses and barbed niceties stand down for you know NOTHING of this love nor have you beheld the connection ~Sunkissed  |
