That train
which climbs the mountain
and border on the rivers of pure water,
that train
Which go through the countryside
In the lazy flavors,
that train
Which crosses the most distant bridges,
that train
Which stops in the middle
Insane meadows,
that train
Which never leaves on time
Or go off the rails in the morning and evening,
that train
Which sings in stations
and which hesitates in towns
that train
Has for destination your heart.

Very beautiful!
One can literally chug along with the meter and the repetition you employ, like even a modern post-steam era locomotive does...

I am minded here of an amalgam of what I have seen in pictures of the Glacier Express, coupled with various rural and small-city/small-town train memories. Thanks for a good read!

I adore this, dear Yann. Beautiful and charming.

In a way I saw the Swiss Bernina Express ... "that train" is indeed in my case a "heart connection".

Love,
Margherita
