"One Knight's Passion" is a poem by Sea_of_Okc. I found it in the netpoet love poems section of PIP. So check it out,it will help you understand my poem. It inspired me to write a reply. The Maiden's Reply Oh brave knight on bended knee This fair maiden hears your plea No black knight will I fear For on your white horse you are near I want no precious jewels or gold Only my chivalrous knight to hold You need not Merlin's magic spell Or a fiery dragon for you to fell Just hold me in your strong arm With your sword keep me from harm Only a proclamation from the king Will make my heart begin to sing In this kingdom and thru out the land Let it be known you've won my hand You hold my heart, you have the key I gladly give my love to thee I'll love you till my dying breath Nothing shall part us, not even death I pledge my heart, my love and I'll take your name You boldly proclaimed you want the same |
