             Autumn Intimations

dark, clear skies over moonlit mountains

chill winds from this lake of dreams

falling leaves and cicada singing

a thousand evening hopes and fears

brittle hints of summer passing

I've never seen fall done so well, Bruce.
A refreshing read when it is so hot.
