It almost never ever rains in the desert and I have never had a picture in my mind of that scence until now which makes this haiku one of a kind. |

I love the image on my mind`s retina of an actual `wall` of rainfall.. inescapable, perhaps.. so prudent to view it as a door, instead of an obstacle.. wonderful haiku ~Amaryllis |

Thanks to all for your kind words. The demarcation between brilliant sunny surrounds and a dark squall line approaching is greater in some ways in the desert. Impressive-looking clouds, yet in many ways better than a sandstorm. |
