I dance on this stage before you, In this erotic clothing of shame… To hide from my misconstrued life, I hide the tears of weakness behind my brown eyes… And I mask the tear stains on my checks with the makeup that you so love, I do this not for your pleasure, But for myself…. It don’t seem like much…. I dance to feel the warmth of the lights on my cold skin, As I hide the feeling of disrespect, You watch me with those wicked eyes of lust…. Just wishing you could touch me, I keep on dancing feeling so alone… My pride and joy is now faded, But I keep on dancing…. For that is my job |

grim picture you paint... and maybe we all dance... to the music life gives us, the expectations and the demands, baring ourselves to the hurts and judgements, the base desires of those around.... our pride...however... we should hold on to without letting it become also our sin.. and our Joy... is what we make it, and what we would do to have it... |

Very descriptive... Enjoyed. Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting, "WHAT A RIDE |
