I raise arms and hands to blue of moon. Silent, prayers of all that never was and all that never would be. Knowing this was just as it should be. Praying to the wisdom of my elder, my mother and my child, letting them fill me with the light of a sustainable balance of all, echoing to me in soft whispers a reminder to bring together all that I feel, see, and think, making it become. Using the tools and the energy of my being, for I am her and she, me. "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |

Lovely.... hints of mysticism and strength. Of learning and a unity... very nicely done ma'am... indeed a pleasure to read you. |

Very nicely composed. I've sometimes thought that if the Moon is blue, it's from facing the Earth so long. Enough to use one's young eyes to see our companion orb as a real big old orbiting sphere out there, and not merely a disc-like teatray in the sky. |

Happy Lammas, baby. And there's just something about standing in that solar cross position that makes everything feel better. Until somebody shows up with nails...*wince* I love you. |

Also, I wanted to point out that I am aware that its the dark moon coming up and not the blue moon (next one in Nov.) but blue moon just seemed right for the title so I took liberties.... "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |

This is, characteristically, beautiful poetry. Just for detail, the next Blue Moon is in August, 2012. |
