I watched her from the blankets of the snow The woodsman left their tools on The front porch of the cabins brown steps. She stood there with her purse. Her eyes staring at the river As the fence to my yard Sought the chance to see her succulent neck Trade its shapely thoughts With my wool woven coat. I watched her. For I began to realize that this was a "moment". A moment that transcended the way I thought The way I searched for a clue from her faint expression From her pale onset to her rose, pencil lipstick, Her thinly, mused body confiscated the breeze With the sneeze from her nose Onto the white, thick snow. She was alone. Beautifully separate from anything around her, But it didn't matter; it didn't matter to me, Just as long as I could watch her, Scarlet to breeze [This message has been edited by Tomer (08-03-2010 08:25 AM).] |

Such was the view In scarlet hue A view of you In crystals new In winter's glow Of falling snow Only I would know As I watched you go |

I enjoyed the vowel and consonant play here: From her pale onset to her rose, pencil lipstick, Her thinly, mused body confiscated the breeze With the sneeze from her nose Onto the white, thick snow. |
