Her fermentation leaves a fine bouquet To rest upon the palate like soft foreplay With intoxicating legs that flow so long She strolls the seducer’s harvest song Her full body flavor contained in curves Pours like an hourglass that so allures Surely she is the thirst I yearn to drink For none other’s glass do I crave to clink She is my finest wine And all she must do is breath |

Definately sounds like a woman who could drive one to drink. |

Very nicely done. Dry to the point of astringency, as I tend to prefer (in wines and wit, whenever possible). |

Andrew my friend, this verse was a fine vintage indeed! I loved the wordplay, that is right up my alley. You had me at: "With intoxicating legs that flow so long She strolls the seducer’s harvest song" What a brilliant line! Outstanding writing! Richard |

Wonderful to read.. I enjoyed this, great use of the AA/BB rhyme scheme, which isn`t usually my favorite, yet here you chose fresh rhyme and unique simile.. well done! ~Amaryllis |

Margherita: Glad you could be enticed. Thanks for the kindness, the read, and the write. Amaryllis: Your words are the coin of the realm. Thank you for spending them here. Passing Shadows: Thank you for casting your shade my way. It is my pleasure to bring a smile. Sunshine: I’m glad I could please the palate of one of PIP’s finest. Islander: Your adjectives are much appreciated. I bow to you and yours, in turn. Earl: Thank you for the PERFECT on that last line. I feel the same way… which is somewhat a rarity for me. TO ONE AND ALL… Thanks for all your time in reading and responding. It does a heart good. Peace! |
