Before the blaze of summer days, ...comes a new day's dawn, When Helios lifts the veil of night, ...and shadows are begone. A special time of thoughts sublime, ...when nature is at peace, As creatures of the night retreat, ...in fall of night's surcease. On Kansas plain, daybreak's refrain, ...sweet song of meadow's lark, Looking forward, never back, ...no thought of midnight's dark. I face the east and am released, ...from vestiges of night, The calm of dawn doth cleanse my soul, ...with wash of dawning's light. |

A fine offering in both form and content. Thanks for sharing. "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |

Very nice. Twilight times both morning and evening are indeed special, and around here that morning "fall" might be the footfall (pawfall?) of a 'possum treading home to den to sleep... *has 6 a.m or nearer flashback* |
