Happiness, joy, and love;
That is what you gave me when I met you.
Twenty eight days till you leave you told me,
You said don't worry I'll be all right
I sit awake now wondering if your going to be ok,
And if you come back alive
You tell me that your going to be fine and that you'll be back
I sit and cry my tears of sadness,
Because I'll miss you so much,
My tears are falling like the snow in the winter.
You hold me close and say,
"I'll be home soon to hold you once more"
You say I'll be the first person you come home to greet,
I hope that what you say is true
You kiss my lips and you speak to my heart
You say your love for me is so pure and true,
Like the flowers in spring
I hope you come back and be mine again....
I can't wait to hold you close and kiss your lips
For when you come back your going to be a big Air Force Man!
I just hope that you don't forget how much I love you,
You'll be in my heart, prayers and thoughts
Till the day you come back and hold me once more,
And say that your mine till the end of time

my husband became a truck driver after we were married and it's hard to watch him leave for two weeks at a time...I feel you here...

I know that feeling my ex started working as a truck driver after we were together for 2 years, and he started only comming home for one weekend a month, it hurts to feel alone and waiting and waiting for them to come home...
