Living my life, Caged in my own world.. I see and feel the sun, But I'm afraid to live... I look around, to see nothing but darkness... All I know is that I'm ashamed, so I sit alone and write... Hoping that one day maybe people will understand me, but I just continue to loose the fight... Counting the days, weeks, months, and years, wishing that I could break free from my dark shadows... Wondering aimlessly alone, waiting on someone to care... I'm just with out anyone, so onward I go alone... |

According to your statement about input on your poetry... you are open to see where you might improve. True? Writing is a great release and a source of a lot of comfort. It can also be a real slave driver if you want to become better and will very easily bruise your ego as well as potentially your heart. If your statement is true and you do wish to get better, then I'll offer a few thoughts. I'm always reluctant to offer, as writing is so personal to most of us and it is hard for us to accept others criticism, even if we think we want it. |

Very poignient... I promise, life does get better when you are ready for it to be so. Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting, "WHAT A RIDE |
