It seems Hindsight's revealed how she taught herself first. She was determined and hell-bent on diminishing her own worth. Her pain's now self-inflicted, they’ll soon turn contrite. She had hopes of reversing the damage left in the wake of their spite. She spoke from the heart needing to believe in her words. Insults awaiting offense, her words profound, would be heard. “I’m aware of my flaws, I need not your critique. You should find a new pasttime, your judgement, a backseat. While I appreciate your concern in my worth and my pride, I think I’ll be my own burden; it’s a perfection of mine. Let's subdue further confusion, so, in terms you understand: I'm a fancy little "Country Club", where you presence is no longer Welcome. Yes, your membership’s been canceled; future applications denied. There’s an open position to judge me, but you’ll need not apply.” And so it became there’s not one she couldn’t beat. In the game of self-deprecation, I'll trump you, I’m King. [This message has been edited by therightside (01-22-2010 12:39 PM).] |

Powerful. You better turn that wheel around though and start to be a champion of self-appreciation instead of deprecation. Welcome to Pip, this is the first time I get to read you. Love, Margherita |
