I can't think of anything to write, so leave me alone and stay out of sight! I've had a bad day, so now go away! I can't talk to you, I have lot's to do! There is no new news, You'll make me blow a fuse! If you bug me anymore, I'll throw you through the door! Because I am having a bad day! note: This was written by my daughter Lindsay MacKenzie in 1993. [This message has been edited by katahdin (07-26-2010 01:43 AM).] |

A fitting ditty for the frustrated young. As Starbuck might've said in Moby Dick, "I've seen this before." ... Not this, of course, but similar. Even in '93 it was more circuit breakers than fuses, but fuse does have mo' better rhymes. |

you have a talented daughter, although apparently a frustrated one at the time. |

I think we have all had days like this. Did you share this poem with your granddaughter? A |

I think your daughter and mine have shared the same pen from time to time. "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |
