For those days when some folks push your buttons my friends,
individual outcomes may vary... depends.
I myself chose to be sensitivity trained
which allows me to keeps my emotions constrained
for considering what is most likely at stake,
that had better be milk you just put on my flakes!

It's imperative one keep ones' anger in check
and treat all with sincerity, truth, and respect.
Anger management skills which are so finely honed
come in handy when jerks start right in throwing stones.
Something will hit the fan, there's an excellent chance,
'cuz that minefield you stepped in ain't no place to dance!

Of course last, but not least, we have the "social graces"
a great sense of decorum to cover all bases
which will make us appear as all-knowing and sage
when some dumb S.O.B. starts to rattle our cage,
I count ten and remember that God has a plan...
after that, I'm afraid, it's let God help the man!

Cpat,
Thank you, lol. The inspiration for this came to me the other day after I just finished mowing my lawn after a twelve hour day, and some completely insensitive moron
decided to throw his empty juice bottle right in my front yard. He was quite fortunate that I did not see him do it as I don't believe a "poetry reading" would have been what he got.

katahdin,
Thank you, for what it's worth, that's my little contribution to this site, to try and make people laugh.
Doc

Loveandlaughter,
Thank you, it's not always easy to convey the message and sidestep the actual phrasing, lol. Welcome to Passions, we all hope you enjoy your stay.

Your "little contribution" always works on me - I laughed.  I hate garbage throwers with a passion - you handled it well by putting your feelings into poetry ... and, of course, making me laugh.

Thank you, Doc M.

Alison,
Thank you, it took me a while to find the humor in this situation, sometimes you really have to look hard, and of course being a little nuts doesn't hurt.
Doc

Ida,
There was a time I would have discussed this with a baseball bat in my hand, but they've taken the fun out of everthing these days, lol, so now I just use my pen.
Doc

The Sky is Imagination,
Glad you enjoyed it. Welcome to Passions.
