There you lay, engraved in blue, poetry's children birthed, from love-soaked hearts, History's pages preserved time, our words were worn like clothes, soft, comforting, warm, wrapped, with stitches of intimate conversations. Rembrandts we became, words brush-stroked on hearts canvas, painted with deepest reds, passionate hues, layered on this blue canvas, Romantic scenes, simple dreams, tucked away with loving care, its all there, hidden in pages after pages, they whisper, a testimony to our love. |

Thanks for your replies and compliments... yes, Ida I am trying to reach deeper, its like you know and feel how you wish to say it, but putting all that emotion and passion into words, allowing the reader to feel and know what you mean is sometimes a daunting task. But a task I love to take on! |

You are sure succeeding in getting that depth into your poems, and these like a few others, were absolutely my favorite lines in this wonderful poem. our words were worn like clothes, soft, comforting, warm, wrapped, with stitches of intimate conversations.
