To my greatest friend whom I've shared everything my heart could muster. I could buy you all the glamorous and glitzy gifts your eyes could lust for. But none of those would come close to the gifts you have given me. The gifts of love, courage, respect, honesty and loyalty. How do I show you enough appreciation on this day? When I think of all the good times we shared, the answer comes right away. I owe a debt to you for all the changes in my life you have made. What you deserve now is a friend who understands and will always be at your aid. Our story has been great but here comes the next chapter. Filled with heartfelt moments and roaring laughter. Prepare yourself for new memories, I'm here for you till the end. I will treasure every smile that I put on your face my friend. |

It is a lovely poem and an enjoyable read. Wouldn't change a word. However, I couldn't help but notice the first 5 couplets could also rhyme with: duster, lint-free, mist spray, maid (sort of), and carpet slapper... So, many more happy years! |
