Why can't I write?
Where are the words when...
it seems
everything is going... right

where is my heart
where is my head
what are these silent feelings
lying here in bed?

I don't understand
the future seems...
unclear
unspoken feelings when... she is near

and that look
I remember that look in her eyes
when I'm staring her down

and she gets that wrinkle in her eyes
that "you're so cute" look
the one that always makes me smile
that says to me, "I can't resist you."

that...
"I wish I could kiss you, look"

passing shadows
