SUN-BRIGHT
25 March 2010

It was just a leaf
of so many,
but oh, how
Flicka and Daisy’s
blazing
sunlight love
shone through it,
green-golden bright
and that leaf became
bigger
than the sun.

The sun & leaf imagery brings back memories. A sweet poem!

Thank you easy1.  Flicka is my horse.  He went to Heaven on 28/04/2002 at the age of 37½.  Daisy is my dog.  She went to Heaven to join Flicka on 18/12/2009 at the age of 14½.  They were/are my life as is Tigger, my cat who is 15 now.

Dear Diana, this is gorgeous. I do understand how this bond of love manifests in your life. The way you perceive and capture it is moving.

Love,

Diana, we have missed you. It is good to see you writing again, and I am so sorry for your losses. You bear them, and their memories, so gracefully.

Two of my cats and my daughter's cat, who I took after she passed away, will soon be sixteen years old. I know that day is coming for them and I dread it. Beautiful tribute to your babies.

Thank you , Margherita, I know you do.  Thank you for feeling my thoughts and my bond with my babies.  Hugs and loving purrs to you and Zelda from Tigger and me.

Thank you, Bruce for your kind words.

Thank you Karilea for your warm welcome and understanding.  Things are a bit hectic.  It is heart-warming and encouraging to know you think I bear my losses gracefully.  There are so many times when the pain of missing Flicka and Daisy have me doubled up in pain.

Oh, Ida, I doooooo understand your fears.  Tigger was 15 on 15 March 2010.  When the time comes, tell your darling kitty cats about Flicka and Daisy.  They meet all the animals and the animal-loving humans at the gate and show them around Heaven  and  introduce them  to everyone and look after them, showering them with love and care.  When they were on Earth, they loved everyone and were loved by everyone.  When the time comes, your kitty cats, apart from missing you, will be overflowing with happiness, but sadly, though you will be deeply glad that they are happy, I know what you will be going through.  Oh, and thank you  so much for saying that my tribute to my precious babies is beautiful.

Thank you very much Amaryllis.  Flicka and Daisy were and still are (where they are in Heaven and in my heart) a horse and a dog in a million zillion zillion.

Thank you Martie for your beautiful words and thoughts - but Flicka and Daisy were and are Love itself.  I wish you could have met them on Earth - you would all have adored each other.  You will meet them, of course, when you go to Heaven.

Thank you Kate.  It is good to be here and to share Flicka and Daisy with you lovely people (and animals).  Loving hugs (from me) and loving meeows (from) to George, Winnie and Bluebell and loving hugs (from me) and loving purrs (from Tiggy-Wigs) to you.
