One More Day One more day in the life of yore So much like some I've had before With no one there, to listen, too No one to do what we might do. One more day of loneliness (Even with, all of the rest) To ponder the question, "Why?" No one to lie where we might lie. One more day, trying to survive With no feeling, known as, "live" I walk and talk and hear instead That emptiness of heart and head. One more day to do without Those things life are all, about But seems the paybacks for this fool Are so unusual and so cruel.
