Homemade
is the best,

of course

Although,
I'll gladly
take them
from a store

One or two
simply will not do
and leave me
wanting more

Dills
are just
to die for

But of them all,
big or small,

the ones that
truly touch my tickle

and I'll devour
until the hour
my heart feels
the Reaper's sickle

is the
bread and butter
pickle

Quirky.  And refreshingly different.

I loved this Larry! We just got some pickling salt yesterday, and some dill spices...dill is my favorite but mom is making mostly bread and butter. Myself, I don't really care to know how to do it since I don't eat much of them and WalMart will always have them.

Cucumbers galore here in my garden!

Not big on pickles but love the poem.
